Guildmaster Thul Coalhammer, Lord of Iskard

Thul of Guild Coalhammer is a brilliant creator and craftsman, most famously known for his metal war golems, who has risen to become the Master of his Guild and the Lord of the Gatehold of Iskard.
He is a stern, stubborn, and humorless dwarf, with a shaven head and a short, simple white beard. As guildmaster he wields the ceremonial (yet also quite functional) magical warhammer made of pure black steel known as The Coalhammer, an artifact passed down for generations within Guild Coalhammer as the symbol of their might and authority.
In addition to being Master of Guild Coalhammer, Thul was chosen to be the Lord of the Gatehold of Iskard by the King of Svarthalla. As one of only five Gatehold Lords, Thul is entrusted with great power and responsibility, and is a very politically powerful figure in Svarthalla.
Like most dwarves Thul is extremely xenophobic and racist to non-dwarves. Outsiders have no place in Svarthalla in his opinion. Additonally, Thul seems to carry a strong hatred for the Lodge Eldritch for reasons unknown. Thul has an older (and less brilliant and less talented) brother named Surud. Surud serves as Thul's trusted bodyguard and enforcer.
