Golvieg
Golvieg was born among the Splintered Folk nomads who wander the great woods east of the Throat of the World. When she was nearing adulthood she was abducted by the Traitors Three and taken to a ruined dwarven temple far beneath the surface of Valkhiem. She was told that she was of seidr blood and had magic in her veins by the Traitors Three, but Golvieg had never done anything magical in her life that she knew of. Perhaps her powers had not manifested yet?
Regardless, the Traitors Three used Golvieg, a virgin of seidr blood, as the focus of a dark ritual they had created to grant them control over wormborn. A powerful Life Elemental was summoned and trapped within Golvieg's body, and then she was impaled by four spears tainted by Nydaugg's corruption which housed the very souls of the Traitors Three. For months she knew nothing but agony; constantly dying of blood loss and wormborn corruption, while constantly healed by the Life Elemental bound to her, unable to move in an arcane prison.
Golvieg was saved by the clever and heroic actions of a band of adventurers known as the Storm Eaters. She witnessed the Storm Eaters slaying Nydaugg, the wyrm that devours the world. Unfortunately, not long after Golvieg was slain by a wormborn (and became a wormborn herself) as the Storm Eaters attempted to help her escape the bowels of the earth where she had been held prisoner by the Traitors Three.
