Ana
Ana was the young apprentice mage of Hrolf Volksson, an arch-mage of the Traitors Three. It was well known that she was also his lover, despite being much younger. Ana focuses her arcane studies in the school of evocation magic.
During the Second Plague Hrolf and the other members of the Traitors Three were reportedly consumed by the Wormborn. Ana claims to have survived the encounter, and after wandering aimlessly for a bit in the chaos of the Second Plague she joined the Eaters of the Worms and helped to end the Second Plague. Ana claims she witnessed Helka ending the Second Plague by causing the genocide of the Djorruk race, sacrificing them to Valdryssil to give the great cosmic tree the life energy needed to fight off the Wormborn corruption for a time.
After the Second Plague Ana seems to disappear for centuries, and her whereabouts are unknown to those who record the history of Valkheim. At the beginning of the Third Plague Ana reappears, bearing strange marks of wormborn corruption not seen before and claiming to have reunited with her former Master, Hrolf Volksson, and the other Traitors Three. She boasts that they have finally found a way, after nearly two hundred years, to control the Wormborn by giving up their mortal souls in some strange pact or ritual of unknown magic. She and her associates desire to usher in a new world order, one of peace and equality according to her, by using the Wormborn as a tool to remove those in charge of the existing world order (namely the Lodge Eldritch and Clans of the Throat) and then enforce their grand desires.
Ana during the Third Plague, Wormborn corruption tainting her flesh
Ana accosted the Storm Eaters when they arrived in Thaneshall, offering them one final chance to join the cause of the Traitor's Three or be considered enemies. The Storm Eaters refused her offer and she attacked them, but did not expect a variety of strangers to aid the Storm Eaters out of the blue at the docks of Thaneshall. After a brief but intense battle, she was slain by an arrow to the throat from Signi of Arnsted, who came to the aid of the Storm Eaters. Her body dissolved into nothingness with her last breath.
Later Ana reappeared to attack the Storm Eaters in the corrupted underdark outside the dwarven Gatehold of Iskard. How she survived, or returned from the dead, is still a mystery.
Ana was slain by the Storm Eaters during the third wormborn plague.
