Eruer
God of Creation, the Hearth and the Forge (a.k.a. Cosmic Consort, Tribune of Industry)
Even an eleven-headed dragon god, creating a new universe from the shattered remains of her old one needs help and company. Or at least, whatever divine happenings are taking place need to be couched in such terms for mortal brains to understand them. Whatever the truth may actually be, Eruer, Tribune of Industry, often referred to as the Cosmic Consort was the first divine being created by Gama after forming the new universe, creating Valine, and populating it with dragons.
Eruer is viewed as almost an equal to Gama, at the very least acting as a proxy for her will when these two eldest gods feel the need to intervene in the affairs of the others who have, largely, been left to take care of Valine. One could view Gama as the brains of the operation and Eruer as the brawn, executing Gama's designs. Such affairs are, as they should be, beyond mortal ken even in a place where gods literally walk among the mortals, if only on an intermittent basis.
Away from philosophy, Eruer maintains control of the domains of creation, the hearth and the forge. He is the crucible in which imperfections are stripped away, the craftsman who birthed nearly all of existence from the blueprints of his Empress' divine inspiration and nurtured it to take the form that now walks, flies, crawls, blooms or any one of a hundred thousand other verbs on the surface of Valine.
More than that, Eruer is the control over the chaos and fury of his wife and empress, tempering the myriad emotions of color and metal that is Gama.
If the concepts of Eruer and Gama are somewhat more vague and ethereal than the other gods, perhaps this reflects their continued distance from Valine. Though considered greater deities they are, truly, the greatest deities of the pantheon and they transcend their own domains to a large degree.
Eruer has been known to appear on Valine, though seldom to mortals, in the form of a hybrid-assatthan, reflecting the four elements inherent in that race. He also is said to favor humans, to the degree that he directly influenced their spread throughout the world, helped by his legendary runeblades, though such events remain legend only, with nothing but ancient stories speaking to the existence of the fabled artifacts.
People worshipping Eruer look to him for stability, for blessings on their crafts, for protection of their family and for the wisdom to do that which will curry favor with the Indomitable Empress, Gama.
