Triton

The Triton were created by the gods Torm and Persana. Torm wanted to create a race like the dwarves for the seas and thus worked with Persana to achieve this. As with the Dwarves the Triton were given a strong sense of Tradition and Structure. They were imbued with the ideals of community over the individual. With the input of Persana this ideal of community grew to include the inhabitants of the oceans of Valindir.

The Triton out of this became a proud race of warriors and protectors of the Sea. They founded their nation of Vodon around the gates to the elemental plain of water to protect each side from the other. As the land races began to travel the seas the Vodon secretly helped protect those early ships as once they entered the sea they viewed them as under their charge. During the Elemental Chaos many of the Vodon cities and people were destroyed.
