The players returned to Feru to collect on their quest to Talonskir. When on the road back to town they were able to see smoke billowing out from the preceptors tower. As they entered the city they did a small amount of shopping and gained some info from the townsfolk on what happened. After they entered city hall to collect on their mission they spoke with the govenor who payed them out for their work. They were escorted to the Advisors office for an immediate meeting. Here she tasked the party with discovering what happened in the preceptors tower for a reward of 1500 GP. They party went and investigated the tower and Rath's office. Here the solved the puzzle to unlock his chest which lead to some coded letters which then lead to a smugglers cave north of the city. They left the tower and went to the Advisor to share what they had learned and next steps. Meeting with the advisor was Champion Copperbraid. They shared what they new and left some items with Xoras to get identified. They then went to investigate the cave north of town and were able to find some information pointing to the lost isles west of Feru.
