Goliath

The Goliaths were created by Azuth and are thus distantly related to the Giants as she had a hand in their creation. When creating the Goliaths she wanted to improve on the giants sense of tradition and structure but make them smaller and less connected to the elemental plane. This resulted in what the goliaths are today. They were given a rigid sense of structure and tradition and this was the most important adherent.

The Goliaths created from this structure their tribes and traditions. They were given the a part of the plains in the south of Ezira. The Goliaths were a proud people and when the forces of Seru reached their lands they valiantly held the line inadvertently protecting the lands of the Kenku and Lizardfolk farther south. While that was not their intention it did build good will between their peoples. When the forces of Seru finally broke their lines they were able to retreat to the lands farther south and defend the swamps and marshes of Imli with the Lizard folk and Kenku forging the current alliance.
