Orcs

The orcs once had a thriving civilization before the rise of the first human realms, which was eventually wiped out by the Altanesi Empire. The word “orc” is often misattributed to several related peoples from the east of Valerna. Orcs have no single name, instead identifying as one of three major lineages: the obakkar, the orlar, and the ogerron.

Orcs are tall, strong, and cunning, skilled in wildcraft, hunting, and battle. Some breeds are roughly mansized, while others are hulking, giant-sized brutes. They band together into self-sufficient clans with well-structured hierarchies and practice ancient rituals designed to lend them strength and courage in battle.
