The Primortalus

Mythology & Lore
They rule the 4 corners of the Elemental Plane. Each connected to the Prime Material to provide balance in all things.
Hora, The Great Primordial of Fire, rules the Plains of Fire in the Elemental Plane.
Eros, The Great Primordial of Earth, rules the Great Peaks in the Elemental Plane.
Sonos, The Great Primordial of Air, rules the Nine Clouds in the Elemental Plane.
Tydu, The Great Primordial of Water, rules the Endless Depths in the Elemental Plane.
Divine Origins
The 4 Primordials bring elemental balance to Valdoris. Very little is known about how this arrangement began but one thing is for sure; chaos would ensue if the deal was ever changed.
Tenets of Faith
Followers of the Primortalus seek to close un-natural portals to the Elemental Plane.
Each Primordial has their own followers, some may seek to open such a portal to tip the balance in favor of their chosen element.
Ethics
Most Sects tend to be neutral but rogue sects have been known to turn to extreme measures as they see civilization as a destroyer of the balance they hold so dear.
Priesthood
Normally, the leader of a Primortalus sect will be a Synesti, someone who has mastered all 4 elements (see Granted Powers below). The masters will be disciples that have mastered a single element.
If a master seeks the path to become Synesti, they will gather masters and disciples of each element and travel the Elemental Plane in order to master each of the 4 elements. Once completed they will find a suitable place and establish their own sect.
Granted Divine Powers
Bending. The art of elemental bending is a sacred art that few can achieve in valdoris. They are gifted with the powers to bend the elements to their designs. Years of dedication and hard work hones the bender's mind and body to be able to channel the power of the great Primordials.
