Fen-Noxdramoar
Fen-Noxdramoar is the capitol of Fin-Nosfinhar. It is also one of their major trade cities, being located on The Benchar River and the coast of The Terric Ocean it is on a major crossroad between trade routs.
Fen-Noxdramoar is built around a great mesa, with much of the city being built on top of the mesa. The Palace of the King, the dwellings for the wealthy, and many of the shops are built on the top of the mesa. The rest of the population lives at the base of the mesa. There are also many shops and cheaper inns at the base of the mesa.
There are a few ways for one to get to the top of the mesa. The primary way are the elevators, they have ones for people as well as ones that are used for exclusively for trade goods. There is a cost to use the elevators, which is used for the maintenance of the elevators. This cost is 5 SP for the personal elevator, or 5 GP for the freight elevator. They also have some stairs which you can climb to get to the top.
Many will only use the stairs due to the cost of the elevator. However, those who do not want for coin, will use the personal one as a sign of status.
Demographics
Most of the population is human or elf. Though there are many dwarfs and dragonborn. There are also a few tieflings and drow.
For the most part the Humans and elves are in the higher classes, the king is human. Though a few of the dwarfs have become prominent business owners or craftsmen. The drow and the tieflings, as well as the chromatic dragonborn to a lesser degree, are refused positions of authority and are relegated to more menial positions.
Most of the laborers, those who work at the docks or in the transportation of goods to the shops, are either tieflings and drow, or oftentimes they are constructs.
