Ilithridil (i-lith-ri-dil)

Ilithridil was a white dragon from the draconic era. She hid while the battle in what is now known as the Dragonbone Hills raged some 4000 years ago. Her mate, Glothrax defended their lair, which unfortunately was situated nearby the battle field. She remembers little of Glothrax, and her few remaining memories feature only half of his form - due to half of his body being consumed by an aspect of the Elder Maw (Ilithridil does not know this). After the battle, she searched for him and retrieved his head from the battlefield, which now lies in a section of her hoard.

During the draconic era, Ilithridil and Glothrax were charged with defending the scrying pools (mirrors) to the air planes and the feywilds. The pool to the air plane is directly to the throne of Zephrus, lord of elemental good (air). The pool to the feywilds is to the faerie dragon court, where Majordomo Waffles watches over the pool - but he has long since given up on its usefulness. The pools are used to communicate important information regarding elemental activity and the integrity of the feywild seals.
A third broken pool leads to Tal’Orn’Miirik, into the private chambers of Vorel. A high perception check will reveal distorted images of her moving about her room in the edges of the reflection.

In the Era of New Gods Ilithridil has long since died, though her skeleton remains animated. She does not understand why, but speculates Glothrax still desires to complete their duty in watching over the planar pools and acts through her remains.
In life and early in her undeath Ilithridil was fastidious in her duties to the pools, and reported to the many queens in the line of Voraldalon's "half-bloods". She last recalls working with Vorlathien - this was more than 1000 years ago, though Ilithridil does not remember the specifics of the timeline.

Ilithridil is protective of her hoards of treasures and the skull resting atop them, but indifferent toward the egg in her nest. Ilithridil believes the egg to be long since dead, due to the silence that comes from it and that the dragonling has not yet hatched in several thousand years. There is space within the nest for a second egg, unaccounted for.
