Doszal (dɒszɑːl, dɒsɑːl, dɒzɑːl)

Doszali, Doszal

Once a great people, the Doszal found themselves greatly weakened by their loss of The Echo and thus lost almost everything they had. Their kingdoms fell, their lands were taken, all they had left were each other and their horses. Now become a nomadic people, they walk the plains, forests and mountains of Estall, living day to day, surviving off of what they gather, hunt and trade.

Far from being weak, they are rather formidable opponents in most cases. When life makes every fight you have to take on at a clear disadvantage towards you, you end up fighting even harder. Thus, Doszali are often trained from an early age into the art of combat, but rarely warfare, as they rarely if ever have the numbers to engage in such tactics.

They are also skilled caretakers for their horses, or anyone else's for that matter, as they see very much the same value in a horse's life as in a humain's. Once they ride with a horse, they see them almost as a brother-in-arms, a companion that deserves respect and care and who, in return, will be a great and talented ally for daily life or even, if things come to it, combat.

Reveal Secret
This is also a Test, but this one is going to have to be quite a bit longer to see if issues arise when there are multiple lines in one spoiler. I don't know how long it has to be to show this properly but I'll just keep on writing until I feel it has been long enough. There seems about right.

Naming Traditions

Unisex names

Doszal culture doesn't differentiate between male and female, be it in customs, life or even names. Most Doszal names come from events of the world, of the days and nights they go through. Dawn, Nuit, Sonnreis and other similar names are commonly found throughout tribes and caravans.

Family names

Doszal names are typically derived from their travels. Where they used to be, where they're going or where they will walk throughout most of their lives. As such, it isn't uncommon to find Doszali named Northbound, Eastwind, High-hills or Lowlands.
