Favorite fishing spot

You head towards your favorite spot. Fish have been biting a bit less there lately but it's served you well for several years and you won't give up on it just yet. You approach the shore, place your backpack with your lunch in the shade of your favorite rock, grab a worm and deftly place it on the hook. Tossing the hook into the water, you sit down on the sun heated rock and settle in to wait for a fish to bite. The wind is a bit stronger here and you briefly consider grabbing a sweater out from your bag, but the warmth of the sun ensures you that it will not be necessary. Staring out over the large lake, you see the small waves propagate over the surface as something in the water catches your eye. It looks like a large shadow moving under the surface.
