Proventine

Proventines are proud, strong, and sometimes fearless people. They love their island, their cuisine, their flag, their teams... Everything about them would remind any British person of what Australia and New Zealand are. Australian was the main identity for many years, having a passion about their fauna and landscape, as well as minerals and wealth, but as a New Zealander identity started to form, the Australians were seen as criminals, traitors, and sometimes were depicted as those who were evading the crown... Something... quite similar to what happens with Proventines. Yudonians were proud of their islands, their coral reefs, their beautiful pearl and gold mines, but as some French people started to settle on the northern island, they started to have resentment against the rest of the Islanders. [...] After some time and things calmed down, Proventines started to cooperate, fearing being left behind on the arms race. They would eventually become fanatic Yudonians and would praise their flags, their traditions, and their overall identity.
Proventines is how people from Provont are usually called. Not to be confused with Provenzants, the term Proventine is an umbrella term used to describe all traditions, thoughts, feelings, and likes with form the common identity of the people from the Isle of Provont.
