The secondary material plane of Uthilith was created by Bren Aldric Ermendrud, who sought to create a pocket of respite for the most promising descendants of his original adventuring party. After casting Widogast's Divine Creation and sacrificing his own life in the process, his granddaughter Astrid and the kin of his friends (Timothy Brenatto and Colston Clay) were brought through the Portal of Creation whilst in the ward of widower Essek Thelyss.
