Library of the Sun
The Library of the Sun is the largest privately-owned archive of information in Uthilith, and is second in total size only to The Great Library of Misty Run. Nearly every significant Temporan individual has come through the hallowed halls of the Library at some point in their lives, as the information within is held deeply sacred in a way that the wisdom at the Great Library is not.
"An elegant chamber with a polished oak round table amidst all the bookshelves, with a few of the monks chatting quietly around it in Elvish. Small basins of water that appear to have been magically transmuted from volcanic magma line the corners of the room where bookshelves are separated."
This library is divided into five floors, each regarding one cornerstone of the Uthilithian liberal arts.
The head monk of the Library is an elven woman named Maeve Zephyrus, who not only oversees day-to-day operations at the monastery, but also vets all seekers of knowledge who wish to make use of the Library. This Library is also the only monastery not directly associated with any deity of the pantheon; rather, the monks who reside here harness the powers of flame and sunlight to enhance their martial prowess. When examined through an arcane lens, they are represented by the category of symbiotic magic rather than divine.

- Floor One: Anthropological Study - disseminating the study of mortal cultures and their development as they continue to interact with the greater world;
- Floor Two: Arcane Study - examining how magic functions within the context of the world, and how it interacts with soceity and culture;
- Floor Three: Historical Study - analyzing the events of the past and ingraining them into the individual's consciousness, lest they are doomed to repeat the woes of yesteryear;
- Floor Four: Political Study - understanding how politics shape contemporary culture and how these institutions affect every aspect of the mortal experience;
- Floor Five: Religious Study - perusing theological principles in wake of the significance of Uthilithian gods and worship.

The Library of the Sun was founded in CY 642 by the grandmother of its current overseer, Aida Zephyrus.
It remains a politically neutral zone as designated by the U5, and any organization who chooses to break this pact will feel the wrath of the remaining nations come down upon them. The only time that this occurred was in the early Gorecrest Dynasty, when the insurgents sought to claim the Library for their own. However, the sanctions that were imposed upon Tempora for the next several decades plagued the population and ruined the image of emperor Henryk Gorecrest until his ultimate death.
The Library of the Sun was built on the Isle of Eldin, and the earliest monks constructed a method to enter the volcano itself from the exterior.
