The sole ruler over the passage of fate throughout Uthilith exists as an envoy between the bubble of the Material and the remainder of the Multiverse. He is depicted in legend as a blonde, tan youth with flowing long hair and a lean figure; those who do not follow this faith believe him to be meek and soft.
Despite the facade he portrays, Lation is the most merciless deity among the pantheon - moreso than Achlýs, Dydos, or Polaris. His conviction is that everything has its place within the Multiverse, and the singular way to earn his vitriol is through upsetting that inherent balance. His celestial army, though few in number, displays a ferocity that would cause any other deity to quake in utter fear.
Similarly, Lation has few worshippers on the Material Plane. Those that follow him are zealous in their conviction - as their belief implies that fate is predetermined, they seek to appease Lation to whatever extent they can.

Lation's most significant place of worship is the abandoned Spirit Temple, a ziggurat in Tempora's Ikana Province that was built by Sun Elves amidst the Age of Anxiety. Its most recent usage was as the battleground against The Erlkönig in CY 1624 and has remained dormant ever since.
Temples of his worship exist in most major cities around the world. Major examples include the God's Fist Cathedral (Nurn Durahl, Thur Nirkhum), St. Archibald's Basilica (Sakha, Iacchus Argentum), and the Orobus Cathedral (Port Lydia, Occidental Kingdom of Chaelwyth). He is the patron deity of Sun Elves, and is frequently worshipped by Mountain Dwarves. Typically, ancestries with a longer lifespan will favor Lation, though this is not the rule.
