Archdevil
"In our Multiverse, there are nine creatures of utter, unadulterated evil. They are the Archdevils, fiends who possess immense power and immense sadism... once an Archdevil has sight on the soul of a person, that person shall never find themselves free again."
Archdevils are unique Devils who control one (or more, in the case of Asmodeus) layers of The Nine Hells. Although many of these places contain immensely powerful fiends, they are not considered Archdevils unless they have power and influence over all in their domain. With great effort, an Archdevil can be deposed - but this event occurs so infrequently that it's unheard of by any mortal's living memory.
