The Noble House of Malatesta

As of CY 1699, the family consists of Liliana Malatesta, Niccolo Malatesta, Ariana Malatesta, and Cesare (the estranged son).

Structure

At its core, the Malatestas always need three individuals to maintain its wealth and status - a matriarch (the leader), a patriarch (subservient to his wife, but with respectable political influence), and an heir. Their family has many offshoots into the Fenrir nobility, and the Malatestas thus refuse to marry from nobility within the city (lest their blood become "tainted" by inbreeding).

Culture

Malatestas are raised to be conniving and cunning, doing whatever they need to get what they want. Their primary goal is to continue maintaining power over the citizens of Fenrir, but each member of the family tends to have side projects they pursue as to not get bored - though many of these never come into the public eye.
