Divine Magic
Divine Magic is Magic that is obtained through faith.
To be able to use divine magic, one must get permission from their patron deity. After doing that, they are able to use some that deity's power. As the divine magic user grows more devout and uses their abilities in service to their god, they will be able to use more of that its power. It is possible, albeit rare, for someone to be able to use divine magic without directly serving a god. This is usually caused when a person is dedicated to a cause is unknowingly granted power by a deity. For example, an adventurer makes it his life's goal to rid his country of undead creatures and receives the ability to use divine magic from a god that is frequently worshipped in that country who wants also wants to get rid of the undead creatures.
Divine magic is given to mortals by the gods, and can be taken away by them as well. If someone's patron deity, that was providing that magic, decided that they were no longer worthy of it, they could revoke it. Another restriction is that it's nearly impossible for most people to cast spells using divine magic without carrying a symbol of their god. Frequent use of divine magic might also cause changes to the user's personality, causing them to act more like their patron deity.
