Started his career as the quartermaster aboard the fairly prestigious raider, The Grey Eagle. Became First Mate, then Captain after the previous captain was badly wounded after getting too close to a USPA fort. From there he began gathering political influence, and when his parents died in a shocking jetboat accident and he inherited the family treasures, he began gathering support for taking a place among the High Captains. Within four years of his parents deaths, he was Supreme Captain of New Orleans.
