Addiction
· When a character uses a substance that can be addictive they must make an addiction (wisdom) save to see if they become addicted to it or not.
· For each day a character uses the substance their max health goes down by 1d4. This deduction stays until they are not longer addicted to the substance. If the character reachs 0 HP total the die.
· If an addicted character does not use the substance for one day they must make a withdrawal (constitution) save equal to their addiction DC.
· If they fail they gain a point of exhaustion. That point does not go away unless they use the substance they are addicted to for an equal number of days to the points of exhaustion.
· If they succeed a point of exhaustion from withdrawls goes away. If they succeed 3 days in a row they are no longer addicted to the substance.
· A Greater Restoration spell can removed the addiction if used over 3 consecutive days, using the casters Spell Attack Bonus against the Addiction Save DC.
· The Initial Addiction rating of any substance is 10 unless otherwise specified.
