Lieutenant Junior Grade Trosas Necihl will hereby be promoted to Lieutenant and placed aboard the U.S.S Streamline. The promotion and conjoined replacement comes following his innovation creating the system known as the Trans-Phasic Warp Modulator, which allows for ships to scan and modulate their warp frequencies as needed for speed based on subspace harmonics, allowing starships to safely pass the Warp 5 limit put on Federation ships in order to protect the fabric of subspace. The request is filed by myself, Lieutenant Commander Elieth, as requested by the current Captian of the U.S.S Streamline.

Ensign Trosas Necihl is hereby promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade. He will remain aboard the U.S.S. Fraser where he will continue work in engineering. This promotion comes after he saved the ship during a fusion reactor leak without casualty of anyone on the ship. The young ensign calculated and predicted the likeliness of the leak based on our current usage of the ships power grid throught our classified string of missions, which exhausted our energy supply. After predicting the likliness of the leak being within a short time period, the ensign contained the reactor in a containment field then rerouted the percise medical quarantine field to the same area, allowing the chief engineer to get close enough to repair the reactor without harm.

Cadet Review

I, Captain Johnathan Porral of the U.S.S. Excelcier, recommend that Cadet Trosas Necihl be permitted to graduate Starfleet Academy and join the ranks of Starfleet as an Ensign in Engineering. The Cadet preformed with peak efficiency in engineering, responding with a level head and quick hands in the face of various dangers. He has proved he is capable of pushing not just himself, but the ship to its maximum potential. The Cadet also above expectations in Command, Science, Operations, and Security. In medical he was reported as "not a hazard" which is the highest of coplements from Dr. Hy'Tlin. It is my personal observation that he tends to relate to people through small interactions, I think he might be well suited for a large ship.

Personal History Interview Report

Trosas Necihl was born on Bajor to Trosas Iliara, a single mother in a Cardassian controlled farming colony. His father, a Vulcan by the name Tavek, had returned to Vulcan after a visit to Bajor for reasons unkown to Trosas Necihl. While growing up, Trosas Necihl would often repair the farming equippment with his neighbor, introducing him into the world of simple engineering.

At the age of merely fourteen Trosas Necihl joined the Bajoran organization known as the Resistance to fight off Cardassian rule. Though rarely involved in the fights themselves due to his age, Trosas Necihl found other ways to aid the resistance including providing upkeep on ground vehicles, base power systems, and other various engineering tasks. During this time it became obvious to Trosas Necihl that his knowledge had been surpressed by his Cardassian rulers. Additionally, older members of the Resistance engineering team noticed his engineering skill and began to pool together money in order to buy him engineering textbooks and resources from merchants and visitors on Deep Space 9.

With the arrival of these engineering resources, Trosas Necihl took a great interest in Starships. Trosas Necihl states he remembers nights where he wouldn't sleep, he would simply read as much from his books as possible. He began making inprovements on the vehicles and power systems at the Resistance base. These improvements lead to increased speed limits and power thresholds for the Bajoran Resistence, allowing them to compete with Cardassian land units.

At the age of sixteen, Trosas Necihl had gained the attention of the Cardiassian rulers, such that it was no longer safe for him and his mother on Bajor. With the help of the Resistence him and other wanted Resistence members fled Bajor into Federation Space requesting asylum from Starbase 421. Uboard Starbase 421, while waiting for his asylum request to be processed Trosas Necihl met Nozris Azin, a El-Aurian Engineer stationed at Starbase 421. Nozris Azin sponsored his application and wrote a formal letter of recommendation for him into Starfleet academy. His application for early admission was excepted with the contingency of an aptitude test. After passing the test, he was approved for admission into Starfleet Academy.

To whom it may concern,

My name is Nozris Azin, I have served in Starfleet for 84 years. My current rank is Lieutenant and I am currently stationed at Starbase 421.

I have recently had the honor of meeting with Trosas Necihl of Bajor. The young man shows amazing promise in the field of engineering and remarkable work ethic to follow-up his natural aptitude. Trosas Necihl was raised in one of the Cardassian-controlled farming colonies on Bajor. As his humble roots imply, the young man started with little to no exposure to the world of engineering. However, due to his remarkable inginuity and a supportive community he was able to teach himself about Starships through old textbooks and manuals from various cultures. After conversing with Trosas Necihl over the course of his stay on Starbase 421, I have come to the conclusion that his engineering knowledge is far past enough to join the ranks of Starfleet Academy's Engineering Track Cadets. I am certian he will thrive in the learning environment of the Academy.
