Urth

Much like our world, Urth is home to all manner of peoples, cultures, faiths, and traditions.   No nation has the capability to easily (and more important, cheaply), sail around the world, and so conflict usually stays between local neighbors. Its unlikely that a commoner in one realm would even be aware of lands far away, much less their customs and histories.   Urth is rich in mana, an esoteric force of nature that many sentient creatures have learned to wield for themselves.
