Personal history
Youngest of Château’s siblings, and the person she’s closest with. She’s 15 years old and half-human, half-goliath.
Born from their mother’s affair with a commoner (Midir Yewfelle Mirabelle is very different from the rest of her family. Sent away to live with her father, her childhood was spent in poverty. After suffering from an accident/sickness, he couldn’t pay for medical treatments and her health declined, causing him to abandon her at the Latour residence. Their mother was happy at her daughter’s return but passed shortly after, leaving the young child in the hands of her stepfather, Travant de Latour.
Mirabelle is an outcast in their family due to her being the child of an affair, and for being of poor health in a family of fighters. Château adores her sister and worries about her when she joins the academy since no one is at home to take care of her (besides servants but no one in the family cares abt her).
The twins, Geoffrey and Lucie, somewhat dislike her because of her sudden entrance into the family when they were kids, and their mother (who was overjoyed at seeing the child she thought she’d never see again, and the memories of her past love) instantly started doting on her and spending most of her time with Mirabelle. Karma unintentionally played favorites, but that bad relationship from childhood just grew over the years especially since Mirabelle evidently didn’t fit in with their family and their values, and they had no reason to talk.

She also enjoys art and music but isn’t able to explore those interests too much. She’s very eccentric and has picked up many strange interests, like reading foreign boys love books (that she is definitely too young for), gossiping with the servants she’s befriended (about the scandals of the nobles, and about what happens around house Latour), and writing letters to her sister.
