Over the past week, there have been numerous pets going missing throughout the city. Authorities are baffled. Animal control denies having made any changes in their practices. There have been no reports of bodies being found. While it is unlikely related, there has also been an increase in the number of missing persons in the city. Again the authorities offer no explanation. However, the authorities are recommending that no one travel alone, especially at night. They stated that this was a simple precaution that anyone can take to help keep themselves safer.
