Personal history

Bonnie grew up in Seattle Washington as a completely unremarkable human. They always wanted to become something more and imagined that there was a world behind everything that they could see. Every now and again, they would imagine that they had seen a Goblin on the subway and they would tell themselves stories about why that creature was there. Until one day, while they were attending classes at college, they were approached by an agent for the Shadow Investigations Unit. They were a Shadow Kind and had come to suspect that Bonnie could see them for what they really were. This is how Bonnie was recruited into the Shadow Investigations Unit. They agreed to work for Draco Industries in return for the cybernetics that they believe makes them into the remarkable person they always imagined they could become.

They were pursuing a history degree when they were recruited and they have never completed that degree. It was never anything that had a great desire for, but rather the only thing they thought they might be successful enough at to earn a living.

Employment

Prior to working for the Shadow Investigations Unit they had held only odd jobs. They had worked in fast food and gas stations. Early in their agent career, they killed someone while on duty. That murder was investigated and Draco Industries decided that they would use it to deal with another problem they were having. Thus, this murder was pinned onto another person and they are in jail. Bonnie is aware that someone else is in jail for something that they had done and they are not bothered by this. They see it as the brutal truth of the world and how power is wielded.
