Sphere: Nobles, PC Debauchery and decadence are their raison d’être, and they have lived a life surrounded by nothing but luxurious excess. That is not to say they rest on their laurels: far from it. It takes work to have this much fun, and more importantly to keep on having fun in the future. Palms must be greased, appetites must be sated, and the occasional problem must be… dealt with.
At their disposal they have feasts and festivals, ripe with opportunity for sweet-talking and blackmailing alike, as well as steady access to opiates and imbibements of choice. There is talk in the city of doing away with the parties and bacchanals in favour of prudent austerity, a circumstance they simply cannot allow to pass. They are the Prince/Princess/Patrician of Parties, after all, and no one is allowed to rain on their parade.

In this, not even the threat of the end of Ur could stop the festivities going as they developed an eclectic number of business interests across Ur, in-between playing a supporting role in the informal collection of notables working to stop the apocalypse. Which really is something everyone should want to have on their business card.
That is, next to inventing the means to record and playback sound , the research for which were developed in their studios just as the Model Village in the Nest bears the House Withers crest alongside their own black cat marker.
