Rook Feather

Rook Feathers are issued by agents of The Rook Parliament in exchange for favours, usually large favours. They can be traded back to any agent of The Rookery in exchange for a return favour, although the agent may refuse.
Feathers are traded within the city, but never for goods or money, only for favours or given as a gift. There are cautionary tales about what happens if you sell a feather for coin and, whether fact or superstition, the tabboo stands.
