The body of The Nebula is vast, enough that entire nations and cultures have risen and fallen on its back through the eons.
Nebula is a world almost without light. Some fungal beings have evolved bioluminescence (and some predators mimic it), but even these are dim by any other standards. The terrain is rocky, and the skies often filled with storms.
Very little sapient life lives on Nebula, even The Cult of Smoke was driven off world. Ancient towers populated by Elders are the main outposts of civilisation, and even those are grim to visit.
The surface of Nebula is the only place in the multiverse to contain pockets of Negation Crystal, which can be burnt to enhance magical effects. Mining encampments are often set up, but rarely last for long. Gathering the crystals can be lucrative but is incredibly dangerous.
