Burl is an exceptional crafter who has risen from urchin apprentice to respected Guild leader by constant hard work. He is known as an innovator, more for his stubborn ability to try hundreds of possibilities until one works, rather than for any particular creative spark. Nonetheless, he has produced techniques for fine metal casting and shaping which his rivals have so far failed to replicate.
