Frik-Zil Bridge
Situated over an immensely deep ravine, The Frik-Zil Bridge as the local Kalari call it, is a rope and wood structure that spans the length of the chasm. To travel around this obstacle would add days to anyone's journey. Thankfully, or perhaps not so, the bridge exists to alleviate that time cost.
The crossing is described as harrowing, even for the bravest of souls. Persistent for rises from below, obscuring both the origin and destination, once one begins the crossing. The bridge sways heavily in the wind, making the crossing all the more daunting. Losing ones nerve on the crossing is common, but panic is never helpful. There is no easy escape once the crossing begins, as turning back is just as difficult as continuing forward.

Purpose / Function
The Bridge serves the vital function of facilitating travel that enables trade. Those heading for the The Echoing Pass from the south or east must undertake a crossing. The bridge, although seemingly precarious, can carry the weight of all but the heaviest burdens. Entire caravans of Brohnx-pulled wagons may cross, provided they do not bunch up.
History
The Kalari of Sand-Lash, sick of circumventing the canyon, constructed the bridge over the course of a month in 152 AE. The process is said to have cost the lives of a dozen Kalari, but once finished, many kalari were grateful for their sacrifice, at least until they attempt a crossing for themselves.
The bridge sees occasional repairs, and it is custom for Lashes passing over to stop and repair anything they discover to be deteriorating.
