Camp Former-Lake

Camp Former-Lake is a permanent Kalari camp and town established as a place where merchants from the Al'Badadi Empire can trade with nomads from the Kalari Lashes.

Demographics

The camp is roughly one-half Al'Quam Radashi and half Kalari.

Government

The camp is run by two representatives, one from the Lashes and one from the Al'Badadi. This representative see to matters regarding their own people and works with the other delegate when affairs involve both parties, which they often do.

Industry & Trade

The camp serves as the primary point of contact between these two cultures. Kalari-made rugs, animals, desert herbs and chitin are traded for Al'Quam fabrics, tools, spices and jewelry. Often though, it is stories and information that is the most exchanged in this meeting of cultures.

Geography

The camp named for the dry lake-bed it is located in. The lake disappeared long ago, though a well in town still yields fresh water.
