Camp Dawn
Camp Dawn is a large semi-permenant Kalari camp, much like Camp Dusk. It is the main launching point for pilgramiges to The Black Monolith, a sacred place for adherants of Solarism. It is a place of rest and solem preperation before heading to the monolith.
Demographics
The camp is composed overwhelmingly of Kalari pilgrims, making their way to the holy site to the north. A small number of non-Kalari adherents of Solarism can be found from time to time. Few outsiders have reason to come, save for the occasional desperate traveler, parched for water and half-mad from the heat.
Government
There is little control here to speak of. As befits its status as a sacred place, it is considered nearly blasphemous to create conflict here. Lash khans settle any disputes that may arise and are held responsible for any actions taken by members of their lash.
Guilds and Factions
The camp is considered sacred ground by adherents of Solarism. While highly decentralized, the path of light has many priests located here. The priests serve as guides, sheparting pilgrims along the path to the The Black Monolith.
History
No history of Camp Dawn can be separated from the history of the The Black Monolith. The site arose as a base camp for pilgrims before making the dangerous trek into the mountains to visit the holy place.
