Upon a Stricken Earth takes place in a Post-Post Apocalyptic world, where the old world has experienced catastrophic events that have broken down nation states, caused mass supernatural events, and reshaped parts of the environment. However that was many hundreds of years ago. Though no nation states exist as they did in the past, significant time has passed where even the fall is considered to be a legend by many. The last true city on earth: New Singapore, run by a shadow of old world corporations known as Parker, Goto, and Kochmann Inc., has recreated life much as it had been in the old world. However those flocking to New Singapore have come to learn that living in New Singapore comes with its own problems. The players have immigrated to New Singapore for their own reasons and must try and carve out their own space in the city and eventually, the world.
