Terran

It goes without saying but Terrans are possibly the most diverse culture, and have a longstanding history. This is, obviously, because this is where life in The Sol System evolved.

Terrans are people from Terra. They have a diverse culture, owing to the fact that people have been on terra for millions, or billions, of years. In some places, Terran culture revolves around oceans and water, in others it revolves around mountains or volcanoes. In yet more places it revolves around plants and animals, and in others, deserts, as Terra is a diverse planet, with multiple different diverse ecosystems. However, Terran culture also revolves around constructs, such as gender, money, power and conflict, and possibly most importantly, self sustainability. Many Terrans will say that they feel proud of their ancestors for not leaving their planet behind to store, as they feel that, especially is the 21st century, those who left Terra left due to fears about the Enhanced Greenhouse Gas effect, and its effects on the planet. In their few times many Tarrans keep a garden with many fruits and vegetables growing. One thing which often shocks people who aren’t from Terra is that there are very few shops selling produce, as they often expect the general population to grow this themselves, or but from neighbours if they can’t.

Birth & Baptismal Rites

Before a child is born in the North-West, there is sometimes a 'gender reveal party', in which the couple find out the gender of their child through cutting a cake, releasing balloons, or other, often outlandish, methods. This is one custom that Terra shares with Mars

Funerary and Memorial customs

At the Final Sendoff Terrans are often sent off after their remains have been mixed with soil. This is an approximation off the old custom of burial.
