An October Hike #26: Out Comes The Camera
As we leave nature and arrive at the parking spot, we are spent. It'll be amazing to return home, but I do believe that I could have done a longer trek too. Maybe I dare do so another time.
Leo calls us together before anyone departs for a few words and an "after photo" of all of us together. As people split up and start leaving he comes to me, camera in hand.
Leo calls us together before anyone departs for a few words and an "after photo" of all of us together. As people split up and start leaving he comes to me, camera in hand.
"I was wondering if I could snap a photo before you leave," he asks awkwardly.
"Gonna parade your conquest around to your friends?" I respond with a cheeky grin.
"Nah, one that's just for me," he deflects smoothly. How can I say no?
I sigh and take a look around. "Just for you then." I take off my chullo and ruffle my hair a bit. I try to pull off a confident look for his photo, and then I move in beside him for a selfie together. As I feel his warm cheek against my own, I'm brought straight back to last night.
