An October Hike #15: The Predator's Lair
For a moment, he stands there. Like looking for the right words, before he smirks and says:
"I don't think the hair job is as bad as you made it out to be." What? I'm completely flabbergasted.
"Are we not gonna talk about the real issue here?!" I cry out before I remember to keep my voice low, and not alert the whole camp. "I am a Changeling - How is that not an issue, Leo? Aren't you worried I might drag you off to my lair in the woods for God know what?"
"No? That's not in the guidebook - is it on the table though?" he laughs it off, but puts on a more serious face as he continues: "I just... don't think you guys deserve a lot of the hate you're getting. You're just trying to live, like the rest of us too, right?"
Fuck it. Fuck everything. Fuck me.
I take a step towards him and kiss him deeply, and I feel him opening up to me, his arms reaching around, embracing me.
"Does your guidebook have anything to say about that?" I ask softly into his ear between kisses.
