Nestled among the dense ebonwood trees of the Neverwinter Woods is the quiet hamlet of Ebonmere. Every year they host the Festival of the Hunt marking the village's survival of a horrible plague 5 years back, and honoring the hunters who keep the town alive through their efforts to supply the meat for the local tavern's famous Blood Boar Stew. It is that time of year again and you're invited to see the festival in full swing.

The Sleeping Death was a plague that swept through the Neverwinter Woods taking the lives of many, decimating the population of Ebonmere.
It's victims were asymptomatic for weeks at the beginning, allowing the plague to spread quickly between unknowing individuals. Once it showed itself it moved quickly; sapping energy and vitality from the victim until they had not the strength to get out of bed and eventually succumbing to an eternal slumber giving the plague it's name.
After Hector's new Blood Boar Stew recipe helps improve the vitality of the villagers allowing them to survive the Sleeping Death, the former Red Boar adventurers get voted in as the new town council.
