Personal history
When The Outsiders found Lianthorn he and his parents were captives of the Swift River Bandit Clan at their camp. During the fight with Todrun Lura Fenrie cast the shatter spell close to the building his family was being kept in, burying his parents alive.
Thonur convince the boy to join them to seek justice against the bandits and their leaders who had ordered the capture of his family along with countless others. He fought side by side with The Outsiders through the compound of The Brothers of the Shadow beneath Mount Braxlan learning from and bonding with Thonur as they went.
After their meeting with High Priest Jandar Lianthorn was denied what he thought was his revenge. He later learned from Thonur that Lura Fenrie was the one who actually cast the spell that killed his parents.
Finding out the death of his parents was an accident and that he had been misled by his mentor about whose hands were covered in his parents' blood hit Lianthorn hard. He wasn't sure what he could trust anymore and he disappeared in the night to mull things over. When Thonur discovered him on the sleeping dragon bridge overlooking the bay of Neverwinter.
