Seeding Time

The Seeding Time is a week-long celebration in the Kingdom of Giltbough where Cultivators collect the fircones of their grandfather copses and plant new grandfather trees in accordance with the planting mandates set out by the High Cultivator. The most devout Arboreans spend the week making pilgrimage to the First Tree and feasting with the Cultivators and Sowers at the Arbors along their path. The rest of the citizens of Giltbough host their own feasts and enjoy a week of half days in honor of the Squirrelfather resting on the boughs of the grandfather trees he planted during the First Planting.
