Treasury

The Treasury, located in Ilyrium, was founded in 1589. For most of its existence, it was owned by the Council, but about two hundred years ago, the Council relinquished control to appease the general population. Now it is a private buisness and owned by the Sharpe family.
Almost every family has an account with the Treasury, and most people also have their individual account there. The Treasury only has one above ground floor, where most administrative business takes place, but has ten floors below ground, where the various vaults and lock boxes are located.
