Time Magic

Time Magic is a type (or branch) of magic that exists in the world of United Britannia and Hibernia.

Regulation

Along with Dark Magic, Time Magic is amongst the most heavily regulated branches of magic by the Council. Because of the extreme ramifications of changing time, those born with Time Magic are often "institutionalized" after their Arbitrium. If that person is lucky enough to register as Time Magic but weaker Time Magic, the witch will be reexamined at their Exams; if their power is too much, they will be "institutionalized;" if not, they may be allowed in society as long as they promise--on pain of death to the Council--that they will never use it. 

Subtypes

There are two different types of Time Magic: retrocognitive and precognitive. The former allows the witch to travel back in time and the latter allows the witch to travel forward in time. 

Careers

There are no careers available to those with Time Magic.

About 4% of witches are born with Time Magic.
