Magizoologist

Magizoologists are witches who research and care for magical animals in United Britannia and Hibernia. Most are born with Nature Magic, although not always. All magizoologists work for the Menagerie.

Career

Qualifications

Magizoologists (like all witches) must attend the Academy and Institute and attain Level Seven. Magizoologists also must attend the two extra years at the Athenaeum and be mentored by another magizoologist.

Payment & Reimbursement

Magizoologists are paid quite well, due to the dangerous nature of the work.

Purpose

Magizoologists study magical animals and run the Menagerie. Unsurprisingly, magical animals have a variety of their own powers, and it is magizoologists' duty to ensure that magical animals are kept quarantined from humans. Research is continually done to make certain that every species is clearly understood. Like in the human world, new species are constantly being discovered.
