The Institute is a school located in Ilyrium. Students enter the Institute around age 14, after passing their Exams

Years

Years 1 and 2 at the Institute are focused on students honing their Born Magic and finding their Practicing Magic. Students typically take ten classes a year (five during each half). At the end of Year 2, students continue on to the Athenaeum.

Graduation

Students must also have passed at least 85% of their classes to graduate from the Institue. They also must have obtained an Apprenticeship.
About 95% of witches graduate from the Institute. Those that don't are given Council-approved jobs.
