Viscount

Viscount or Viscountess is the lowest noble title in Rivell often just ruling a single settlement, they are often referred to Lord Mayors. They are selected by the liege of the area, though normally the direct liege, sometimes a higher liege can install their own choice.
Though a Viscount serves for life, their position can be revoked relatively easily if needed.
