Sloobludop

History

Sloobludop was a Kuo-Toa village on the eastern shore of the Darklake in the Underdark. It appeared like a massive tangle of algae and kelp that was lit by phosphorescent spots, from which a series of towers jutted, held together by a tangle of rope and plank bridges.

Party History

After finally making it to Sloobludop they were hired by the village leader to stop a plot by a cult of Kuo-Toa that worshiped a new God called the Leemooggoogoon the Deep Father, the cult led by his daughter intended to conduct sacrifices to summon their god.

The party went along with the plan to pretend to get captured so as to surprise the cult and lead the attack on the cult. As they conducted the plan and were brought to the altar Bobbie discovered one of the sacrifices turned out to be his mentor that sold him out to the drow, Firaun.

The plan went perfectly starting of the battle by killing multiple cultist, however they underestimated how many Kuo-Toa had become cultist. The battle went back and forth until the village leader landed the killing blow on his daughter on the altar of sacrifice. Unfortunately this was the final sacrifice needed for the summoning of the Deep Father.

Leemooggoogoon turned out to be the prince of demons Demogorgon who's presence caused all the Kuo-Toa in the village to either horrifically mutate or die in the process including the party's pacifist companion Shuushar. Following the summoning the party managed to escape with the knowledge that the greatest of all of the Demon Princes was out in the underdark.

Inhabitants

With the only inhabitants being Kuo-Toa, it had been ruled by Ploopploopeen, archpriest of the Blibdoolpoolp, the Sea Mother, until he was challenged and displaced by his daughter Bloppblippodd, archpriest of Leemooggoogoon, the Deep Father.
