Blingdenstone
History
Blingdenstone (pronounced: /ˈblɪŋdɛnstɒnɛ/ BLING-den-stone6) was a svirfneblin city-state founded in −690 DR by svirfneblin fleeing the phaerimm. In 1371 DR, the city was destroyed and abandoned. However, beginning around 1440 DR the svirfneblin began to resettle the town.
Party History
The party came to Blingdenstone after leaving the Netherlight Grove to try and find a way to the surface. On the way after falling into an abandoned temple they met Glabagool a sentient Gelatinous cube as well as running into their old cellmate Jimjar who after talking to the guards gave them access to the city to fulfil a previous delivery request they took from Gracklatugh.
Once inside they fulfilled their request before saving some deep gnomes from a random attack from a group of Gelatinous cubes. They were granted an audience with the current leader of the resettlement of Blingdenstone, Dorbo Diggermattock and his wife Senni Diggermattock. They gave them the task of finding Entémoch's Boon a special cave from legends of the previous generations of deep gnomes that allowed for much better summoning of earth elementals.
Inhabitants
Currently the population of Blingdenstone are a few hundred deep gnomes that have returned to their ancestral home under the leader ship of Dorbo and Senni Diggermattock.
