Overview

The Crimson Veil is a predictable but eerie event that blankets the land in a crimson miasma every night, blocking out the view of the stars and moon. This miasma, in addition to its disconcerting visual effect, brings with it a sense of fatigue for those who breathe it in, eventually leading to unconsciousness if one is exposed for too long. One must also be wary of the creatures known as Nightbeasts during the time of the Veil. These creatures have adapted to the phenomenon and take advantage of the cover provided by the miasma, becoming active and hunting during the hours of the Veil. They are known to be attracted to sources of fire and smoke, often used by humans to disperse the miasma.

While the Crimson Veil is a formidable and mysterious phenomenon, humanity has learned to adapt and survive through these challenging circumstances.
