Where did the Razor Eagles go?
- The Cheesening in St. Azola. 14th Hammer. --
A few hours after Dalaila and the gang returned to Cormyr, Ashe and her Razor Eagles had also successfully returned. They stayed back for about 12 hours or more but came back a few hours before even them.
At the center of the town is the World Tree left behind by Azola, still growing and was proudly named "Tree of Eden" by Ashe, the lord of the Linwood Barony and ruler of this town.
At the base of this tree, is the house where members of the Razor Eagles reside but only three of them appear to be home right now.
Ashe who put on her reading glasses and is going through paperwork regarding the expansion of her Army, details regarding the Purple Dragon Knights, and other future endeavors. Axil who appears to be deep in meditation, focusing for the battles ahead, and Volt who is currently attempting Divination at a """shrine""" built for Mystra. (There are portraits of Mystra being put up on the wall, statues placed around a burning incense in the middle of a magic circle.
As for the other members, Leon has gone back to Arabel for business as usual, Laxi who is giving Jiix a tour of the city, and Aria who went to Fantasy Costco for bulk grocery shopping and afterwards negotiations.
- Ashe: This cheese situation is getting kind of annoying not going to lie, We had three casualties that were resurrected quickly within the 1 minute benchmark but its starting to hurt businesses now.
Leon flew as high as he could to see what's going on since the Cheese only falls at night but even he can't fly all the way up to the moon. He tried his best but got lost each time he tried to go up. There is some sort of magical ritual that messes with your Perception of it. Even above the clouds when you're looking at the full moon, it seems so blurry and translucent. Teleportation is bogus too.
Also, Mr. Simp in the corner, what are you doing.
- Volt: Recently, I have been thinking of what our next goal after this city is. The situation with soldiers is looking up since we have both warriors and mages being given training at the Adventurer's Guilt. The cost is covered by the Barony so the instructors, and equipment are top notch. Once Aria gets back from the Thunderpeak Mountains, we can potentially have an alliance with the Dragons living up there. We already have started training on riding Wyverns thanks to her and those she taught have already started teaching others. Things are looking up, but I keep getting a bad premonition about the future. So, I decided to play it safe and used Divination earlier. Mystra gave me a few words, but I can't seem to make much sense of it.
Traverse the waves of the reversed stream,
The tower crumbles into a dream.
A fractured present, completely unmade,
Through those mirrored tides, let dawn invade.
For the past few days, I've had the same dream where the sky goes dark, the weather goes haywire and well... it's not a good time. I can't recall but it just seems to give me a sense of deja vu. I wonder if these words have anything to do with that.
- Ashe: Hmm, I'll let Laxi take a try at this once she's back. There's also this situation with the meteor that landed outside. Th---
(The Window Shatters as an oversized rock flies through it)
X: Sorry about that, I didn't mean to throw it that hard. You're the big boss of this City right. I have a request to make.
(X jumps towards the window and climbs inside)
I'm the Mysterious Gamer X from a galaxy far far away. Nice to meet you all for the very first time. Wait, we technically saw each other fighting those Giant Space Bugs for a bit there but that doesn't count.
Anyway, I hope you will listen to me for a bit longer. When I was flying towards this planet, I saw something strange at your Moon before landing. I did some investigation there and found something dire indeed. It seems the Holy Cow is dying, which means, that your moon is also dying. It is in desperate need of saving, otherwise you will lose your moon forever. But not, before the entire melting and falling on your planet.
Ashe: (Insight Check) What you're saying makes no sense, yet, it also makes sense because cheese is literally falling from the sky. Well, this is no good. I lost the bet against Lux regarding whether or not the moon was made of Cheese. So, what plan are you suggesting?
X: You must traverse the great depths of the Underdark and arrive at the Kingdom of Mushrooms. Once there, ask for the fair lady Princess Poop and deliver her this letter. The Mushroom Kingdom holds a great relic known as the 1-Up Shroom, a remedy for the Holy Cow so that it may live again after death. This is the only way to save the Holy Cow, no other way exists, nor do we have the time to look for another.
Ashe: I see. I have heard of the Mushroom Kingdoom, that's where Foop is originally from. This is an opportunity to take him home as well. I believe the shortest path is through Chult. Let's prepare and head there right away to deal with mess.
